Chinese Fringe Tree

Native to eastern Asia, in eastern and central China, Taiwan, Korea, and Japan, this tree is typically denser and larger than the predominant native spieces Chionanthus virginicus.  The fruit of the tree is a good food source for birds and wildlife.
