Chinese Elm (#11)
Native to China, Korea, and Japan, this tree is tolerant of drought, soil, light conditions, and air pollution. It has good resistance to Dutch Elm Disease, a fungi spread by the elm bark beetle. The wood is the hardest of all elm trees thus it used in furniture and ?ooring. It is also used as a bonsai tree.
