Swamp White Oak (#11)
Native to the eastern United States, this tree forms hybrids with Bur Oak where they occur together in the wild. Over 400 of these trees will be planted in the September 11th Memorial Plaza in Manhattan in New York. Wildlife such as deer, ducks, and geese are attracted to this tree when the acorns drop in the fall season.
