Eastern Redbud

Eastern Redbud (#10)

Indigenous to eastern North America including Georgia, Native Americans consumed redbud flowers raw or boiled and ate the seeds roasted.  In some parts of Appalachia, the green twigs are used as seasoning for wild game.
